What players say
I didnt expect to like this game as much as I did. But lemme tell you sumthin... its great. If you enjoyed Sega's Yakuza series I think this is a fresh presentation of the series and you still know it's in the same universe. 10/10 for kicking but an letting me have 4 girlfriends no consequences.

I really enjoyed this game. The story was great, the characters were well written, and I loved the whole Kamurocho setting. Yagami was a really good protagonist, and I liked how the game focused on detective work and solving mysteries instead of being just another action game. The investigations made the experience feel different, and the story kept me interested throughout. My only real problem was the gameplay...
The entire first half of the game i was like "This kuroiwa guy is interesting i would love for him to have more of a role". Little did i know... Also gotta praise this game for its incredible cast like all the characters are incredible in their own ways. This was my introduction into the Yakuza games and damn is it a good one.
