Scratches the exact same itch as Enter the Gungeon for me. Lots of different item/stat combos to play with, movement and controls are satisfying and well tuned, the old-school graphics keep visual clutter down,, and it's got phenomenal replayability. What's not to like?
Having played both Hades, Deadcells, and all the other action roguelikes of lesser notoriety, I can say this is my favorite. The game oozes with passion, is constantly updated despite being led by a single person, and is simple where it needs to be and incredibly complex where it needs to be. ie: the controls and basic game mechanics are easy to pick up, but the build-craft as you unlock characters and items and...
If you like a roguelite, its just worth it. Even if it is simple pixelgraphics its WORTH IT!
