What players say
I greatly enjoyed the new "quartz" system, making you pay attention to the element count for shard skills without limiting what kind of Arts each character can perform. The quality of side quests is a huge improvement, not to mention the new morality system for some nice roleplay.
Gameplay change is for the better. Story-wise i don't think is the best in the series but it still okay. Music is kinda disappointing if i compare it to the other games in the series. Overall still an enjoyable game to play.
Coming off of what I felt was a mediocre game in Trails Into Reverie, I was hoping for Trails Through Daybreak to be a fresh coat of paint on the Trails series, and it delivered in the best way possible.
