More about Tostchu
This site sampled 394 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 10 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written October 2024 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 8 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 2,597 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 293 have a larger share. The typical game sits near 5 in 1,000, so the score docks it. 2 of the 10 refunded reviewers were past Valve's two-hour window when they wrote the review. Inside the two-hour refund window, 72 percent of the 157 reviews written there were positive, against 84 percent overall, and those are 27 percent of everything written about it.

I think your enjoyment of tostchu will depend on whether or not you are affected by the type of horror it goes for. It's a lot of small things that build up in the back of your head. It's looking behind you even though you know there's nothing there because, even if you won't admit it, might not even realize it, you are terrified and alone. If that works for you, you might have a good time. if it doesn't, then...
