The value story

June 2026 is where it bottomed out, at $4.49. 13 discounts in the 2 years on record. They run about 40 percent off, roughly 7 weeks apart. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended 3 days ago.

Value puts it in the top 46 percent of the games it competes with. It is cheaper than 63 percent of its genre. Among the games that feel like it, VOIN ($19.99, scores 76) beats it on value, while it beats Dungeons of Edera ($14.99, scores 19).

Of the 470 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 16 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written January 2025 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 8 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 698 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 40 have a larger share. Inside the two-hour refund window, 70 percent of the 370 reviews written there were positive, against 84 percent overall, and those are 36 percent of everything written about it.

HowLongToBeat players log 2.4 hours as a typical playtime, and completionists log 15, 6.3 times as much.

It carries Valve's Deck Verified rating and runs 2.4 hours, about as long as a handheld game wants to be.

What players say

I'll give this a thumbs up, but anyone reading this should know I'm critical of it! This game is good in simple ways and struggles in complicated ways. Going through the dungeon, finding weapons, and fighting enemies and bosses all works, but there's issues that wear down the concept the longer you engage with it. The combat is simple. It works exactly the way it looks and is generally pretty fun. However, it is...

Really fun game. My only issue is that it gets kinda stale after you beat the last guy a few times. If you like Rogue-Likes and you like Souls-Likes this game is for you.

Superb one! Actually it's not a rpg game it's a souls like slasher game. You enter the realm of a tyrant. Yes he's the final boss. You may enter different paths to finally meet and beat him up. You will get screwed a multiple times. You will get different sets of equipment. It's a weapon, shield and your clothes. Great system of upgrades in the game but for me a bad system of merchant upgrades. Cause the stats when...
