I do like the game even though I would prefer if it was a bit more modern and less retro. The gold standard for such games is Valfaris. But this is fun. Maybe they can evolve it. It has potential.

Banger of a game! You should play it directly on the hard difficulty if you seek the true experience. I did not finish it yet but I am very impressed. Amazing soundtrack, amazing graphics and amazing enemy variety. I love the shop and respawn system.
If you're an old arcade crawler like I was playing games like Cadash, Rastan, and console games like Castlevania while loving the Sega Genesis sound processor and the BGM it produced, this is the game for you!! Picking this game up at full price would have been worth it, but luckily I got it on sale, so either way owning this game is a win. It's quick, easy to pick up and there's some actual story telling throughout...
