The value story
It has never been cheaper than $4.99. That was May 2026. 16 discounts in the 2 years on record. They run about 40 percent off, roughly 4 weeks apart. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended about 3 weeks ago.
It is pricier than 74 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 84 percent. On the same math Fights in Tight Spaces ($24.99, scores 73) and Cross Blitz ($22.99, scores 39) are the better buys, and they are the games it most resembles.
Of the 550 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 7 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written March 2025 to August 2026.

Heartbreaking game, I was super hyped for this but there's just too much going against it for me to enjoy. The visuals are nice but the mechanics are annoying, the best visual mechanic is the hand to hand abilities which look cool, but, you can only use them on a weaponless character and there isn't enough of them and they are not prevalent enough to actually round out a build. Banger soundtrack, like always, and the added teammate/party play with 3 characters (multiple classes as well btw) is a huge progression of the formula here. The presentation of the story and even the levels reminds me so much of games from an era long past. When you rotate the camera...
With the last update almost a year ago, I'm almost certain that some quality of life stuff won't be implemented, which is really frustrating when the concept of the game is so unique and fun, and many aspects of the game was done well.
