You know, I really liked Save Room. A fun little puzzle game based on RE4's grid inventory system, with set items and specific solutions, it was a really fun little simple game. You know what's a really quick way to make those fun little simple puzzles annoying? At first, I wasn't sure why this game had so many negative reviews because the first game is actually really good. But after playing it, I now know why. The game is very tedious, the merchant only serves to force you to fill in the inventory screen twice; once for treasures, and again for the actual items you need. It's extremely buggy, buying items in bulk causes the game to give you more money than the actual...
the first Save Room game was fun because it was just inventory management, but The Merchant is incredibly tedious, and i typically like tedious stuff. having to solve every puzzle twice just to go in and out of menus several times for all 40 levels is clunky. usually i'd just commit to finishing the game for the achievements but idk if i can bring myself to do that for this one
