TLDR: Game isn't abandoned until estimated update time period has passed with no updates at all Haven't played this game in forever but felt like posting a review to say that if people are going to say that the game has been abandoned at least wait until the time period they were saying an update was going to arrive has passed. Sadly these devs are notorious for not giving progress updates and long periods of time...

I haven't played many games like this one, my only comparable one being Halls Of Torment, but I really like the progression in this one. Death Must Die gives me the satisfaction of a lvl 85 Diablo 2 character in about 20 mins, which is perfect for my limited gaming time as a parent. It also scratch that huge loot itch because of its fantastic gear system. It's simple and straightforward enough for me to build my own...
Millennial writing is the only gripe I have for what is here. You're fighting supernatural entities and dealing with gods and spirits in a dark fantasy world but everyone talks with the vernacular, slang and inflections of someone that went to high school in the mid to late 2000s.
