If you're a Castlevania fan this is a pretty good alternate take honestly. good twist and turns and great origin to the belmont legacy. good 3d castlevania. I will admit it is repetitive at times and the qte's can have some cool finishers but still lacking in ways. also dragon boss sucks but again if you have played castlevania games and want a cool 3d action game i recommend at least playing once. So far, the game is quite interesting. I've seen playthroughs of the game before and thus I've always wanted to play it. It runs fine, and the fact that I can use my spare PS4 controller to play it makes it easier than it would be with the keyboard and mouse.
An ok action game that keeps you from the fun way too much. If you like Castlevania or action games and wanna give it a try, get it on sale. It can be fun at times. But I wouldn't recommend it, otherwise. The combat is sometimes fun, but the enemies can be tanky and hard to read, making your abilities often feel like they're not suited to the kind of enemies you're fighting, while also just making combat feel...
