The value story
The lowest price on record is $22.74, set in September 2026. 12 discounts in the 2 years on record. They run about 25 percent off, roughly 6 weeks apart. Today it is at full price. The last sale was about 3 weeks ago, and on this game's rhythm the next one tends to arrive within 6 weeks. No sale on record has reached $16.21, the price it would take to be a BANGER.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 3 percent on value. It is pricier than 96 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 96 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Death's Door ($19.99, scores 73) beats it on value, while it beats God of War Ragnarök ($59.99, scores 62).
Critics scored it 75. Players sit 17 points higher at 92 percent, which usually means a game that plays better than it reviews.
Steam's global achievement data puts 29 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. The median game this site can measure sits at 8. Players rate it 92 percent positive over its lifetime, but the last 30 days run 80 percent. Something recent has soured the room. This site sampled 800 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 10 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written November 2025 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 69 percent of the 1,038 reviews written there were positive, against 92 percent overall, and those are 5 percent of everything written about it.

what a hidden gem!! the combat is good, level design is good, worldbuilding is amazing and story is good and not hard to understand if you read the notes scattered throughout the game. you dont have stamina and mana - instead its combined into sync rate and its unique and fun. also wow!! kbm binds that arent horrible!! probably the first soulslike that did this you can see the budget cuts in the game but its truly...
not bad but definitely way too easy. many times i would beat bosses first try or within less than 5 tries (only time this didn't happen was loskid). A lot more fun to try to parry than dodge and learn the fights, which I believe everything is parryable but grabs. Definitely a slower arpg than most. Pretty much feels like dark souls/demon souls without stamina. HOWEVER, the one gripe I did have with this was how...
Very good, no real complaints except the MC is annoying to listen to and I wish she just stayed silent sometimes (she repeats the last thing anyone says back to them as a question constantly). The parry mechanic is slightly delayed, about half as delayed as a dark souls parry, and very strong, but dodging is still much safer. This is the first game where those mechanics are balanced enough to where I use a lot of...
