The first hour of the game is killing bats. That's it. Just killing bats. While your weapon breaks and combat is nothing more than "click and watch". you can't even tell whose doing damge as the numbers are both the same color and the camera angel is often wrong to see who's attacking. (minor spoiler) First, I thought the game was pretty good: a solid RPG, original story, amount of dialogs that could rival planescape torment. It's a long game: eventually completely repetitive dungeon crawling bored me, but I still wanted to finish the game. Then, when I thought I was close, I hit a wall. A script bug that broke the game in act3. I talked to people and received quests in the "wrong" order, and now...
Extremely engaging game, story extremely interesting and thrilling. Love the music, which completely sets the tone and the epoch. Would love to play a sequel.
