What players say
While this is the reason I will never support another Double Fine Productions game, it is a pretty fun game. I recommend acquiring it in a way they won't get your money, since they do not deserve it for purposely pushing it to a mostly rigged-to-lose, 1.0, final release just to leave early access and cut their losses. Extremely promising with a fun gameplay loop, but sadly the depth drops off about 30 minutes into...

Double fine did not come through here. Lets face it double fine sucks. This game was a kickstarter. They took our money and only put in 1/4 of the promised content. They deserve to go out of business. Do not give them money on kickstart or anywhere else.
Game was totally abandoned without warning by trusted developer. Suddenly went from alpha to 1.0 with the expectation that the community would finish it. So sketchy that Steam actually changed their early access policies. I had enjoyed the previous Double Fine games but this was too shady and to this day I haven't had good cause to buy any of their games myself.

In Spacebase DF-9, you'll build a home among the stars for a motley population of humans and aliens as they go about their daily lives. Mine asteroids, discover derelicts, and deal with the tribulations of galactic resettlement in Earth's distant future.
