What players say
1131 hours played at review time. it's an enduring classic among games i like and come back to. the skill floor is very high and when considering speedruns and challenge characters, the ceiling might not exist. brutally challenging but deeply rewarding. not for everyone. bliss for me. and i don't even like roguelikes, generally.

I bought Crypt of the NecroDancer a whole decade ago and quickly learned that I am incapable of playing rhythm games, let alone one as difficult as this. This fact still holds true 10 years later finally coming back to it, so I am ranking Crypt purely on my Bard playthrough which makes the game a turn-based dungeon crawler with no rhythm aspect, it's still really good. (But if you're playing just Bard like me...
While this game was fun, why does it constantly send off random network requests while playing? ... Like, constantly. To random IPs as well. Dodgy stuff.
