Where's my S.P.A.Z.3? 😕 Really, this was one of my favorite games I always end up thinking about, and recently went back to. It does so much right. The strategy, the RNG, the AI feeling like actual people you can care about, or hate, and this was well before the AI slop era. A cautious thumbs up for this one. I had fun with it for a bit, but imo it has some balance problems, and the early game is kind of brutal too especially if you're new to the game. Once you get going though, it's fun to customise your ship build (although the interface is somewhat clunky). Don't play it for the story either it's kind of bland.
This one does not feel anywhere as good as the first. Much more janky with a learning curve that feels much more difficult.

About the game
Design and then improve the ultimate mothership. Explore a persistent living galaxy populated by 200 unique captains that can do everything you can do. Survive the zombie infection and then fight them back. Make allies and start your own faction. Build your empire. Also includes Sandbox Mode.
