How to read this

The value story
It has never been cheaper than $9.99. That was September 2026. It has been discounted 12 times in the 2 years tracked here, typically at 35 percent off, with about 7 weeks between sales. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended 2 days ago.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 5 percent on value. It is pricier than 96 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 90 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 ($49.99, scores 79) beats it on value, while it beats FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE ($9.99, scores 58).
Steam's global achievement data puts about 10 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. On a 36.1-hour game, the hours short of it still count in its price per hour. This site sampled 402 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 4 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written January 2025 to September 2026.
36.1 hours to finish it, 90 to exhaust it. The completionist tail is 2.5 times the campaign.

The drop-off
71% start to 10% finishSteam counts fewer than one in ten of its players at the ending achievement. On a 36.1-hour game, that's a lot you pay for and may never use. Steam global achievements
What players say
It's very cute. I actually haven't played this one yet until this remaster. and honestly? i like it. honestly one day except for the current Tales of the Worlds games i hope to get translated soon officially. i hope one will come to steam one day and that way we can just unite all the tales worlds into one thing x.x;; i love them so much. or even better yet a new TALES of game... would adore that even better.
I will say i don't recommend playing this game on pc without a controller. i will say play it on a console that could help with this type of combat with the artes. (But, this isn't a negative review tho i would love to recommend this to a ton a people who are getting into the tales series)
I kept reading reviews saying "this game is so good" "it only gets better and better", and do you know what? They're all correct! This game is absolutely fantastic, I'm around 3 hours in so far and it's brilliant so far, it keeps getting more dramatic and hard-hitting (dramatic in a good way), it's great, the combat is fun. It's been a long time since I've played a "Tales of" game (I am a long-time fan) I adore it...
