The value story
It has never been cheaper than $4.39. That was January 2026. Its cuts run 30 percent off as a rule. There have been 28 in the 3 years tracked, about 6 weeks apart. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended about 4 weeks ago. $3.84 is what it would take to make this a BANGER, and nothing in its history goes that low.
On value it sits in the top 14 percent of its genre. It is cheaper than 67 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 96 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Swallow the Sea (free, scores 88) beats it on value, while it beats Witch Hunt ($9.99, scores 66).
Steam's global achievement data puts 69 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. The median game this site can measure sits at 15. Of the 379 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 10 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written September 2023 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 8 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 1,071 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 127 have a larger share. Inside the two-hour refund window, 95 percent of the 1,437 reviews written there were positive, against 96 percent overall, and those are 70 percent of everything written about it.

What players say
I really liked it. My favorite part was when I woke up and a ghost squirrel and a squirrel bear both attacked me at the same time as soon as I walked out of the house. The squirrel bears actually do startle me sometimes. That's probably because the sound of the forest was done really well. Now go play the game!
10/10 Pretty good and short horror game, too short to mess anything up The ending gets ruined if you get spoiled though.
REVIEWING EVERY GAME I'VE PERFECTED: I saw this game on Tiktok, the infamous 'God Is Coming' scene, which compelled me to download the game. And I'm so glad I did. For such a simple game, the tension is great, the gameplay is fun and the story is amazing. And the whole ending sequence is just incredible, really sends chills through you
