The value story
January 2026 is where it bottomed out, at $7.49. Its cuts run 20 percent off as a rule. There have been 13 in the 2 years tracked, about 7 weeks apart. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended about 2 weeks ago. No sale on record has reached $5.73, the price it would take to be a BANGER.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 1 percent on value. It is pricier than 66 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 98 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Perfect Vermin (free, scores 80) beats it on value, while it beats Ghostwire: Tokyo ($59.99, scores 41).
This site sampled 384 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 9 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written January 2025 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 88 percent of the 358 reviews written there were positive, against 94 percent overall, and those are 24 percent of everything written about it.
What players say
short game but pretty interesting. to find story you have to read notes or you will not know what the F you are doing plot wise, so READ MF READ
one of the coolest and most memorable endings I've seen from a horror game.... and hard mode provides a constant, consistent challenge throughout the whole experience :3
Finished it in a few hours of buying it. The atmosphere is incredible, as to be expected. While the gameplay loop got a bit repetitive, the fights were definitely at their best when there were big crowds. Having control of the environment using traps and pits was a good addition. The enemy variety is just big enough to make you understand what their deals all fast. The story, what little there was, made me feel icky...
