for $2 on sale, it was a great game, for 2026 it doesn't really hold up but I still had a great time, only gripe is the cutscenes that flash white which is pretty aggravating at night & being forced to walk while hearing flashbacks esp when getting chased. Id still recommend to play this just to experience it once
I always considered original Amnesia to be my one of the favorite horror games ever, but revisiting it 2026 well... It dosent holds up in terms of horror. Most of the horror is very scripted . Monsters are very basic, predictable and can be easily tricked. To the point I had monster dissapear in front of me just before the entrance to the next area.
