What players say
New Proton version finally makes this game playable again on Deck. Played it years ago on a different platform when it was new. Still love it, would love to be able to experience the story for the first time again. If you're not into horror gameplay, there's a difficulty setting that greatly decreases gameplay stress while keeping the scare factor.

I do not enjoy horror games. I kept hearing about how good this game's story is. So I decided to give it try. I did not enjoy the horror parts at all, no surprise there. The story is cool and messed up though. Didn't give me any "existential crisis", but it was interesting to learn about this world.
The product as a whole is awesome because of the message it delivers. The message is conveyed splendidly, but the gaming experience is kindergarten puzzles, walking in circles in search for the next step, and the stealth sections that are more annoying than scary. The message is awesome, but the gameplay is meh. Also, the whole game takes no more than 10 hours. If you believe that mind upload does not result in you...
