6/10 The start of the game is quite slow and almost failed to keep me interested until I encountered the first part where you could problem solve and encounter scary scenarios. The death animation is probably one of the worst I've encountered in my entire life of playing games, it is like watching a short trailer, leading into a hard locked animation of getting up which is very poorly designed for time sake. It's not bad, but neither very good either. The immersion is damaged by flashbacks that stop you in your tracks, regular unnecessary main character dialogue, and minor cutscenes that serve no practical purpose. The story is somewhat weak (some notes just lost me) while explaining too much of Amnesia, hurting the lore and atmosphere. The monster encounters are too sparse while lacking in weight given how the "death"...
