What players say
Arguably the best installation in the series, flawlessly so. Challenging puzzles but not to an unreasonable extent, encounters with the infected are fun, story-wise it's pretty good too. Nothing bad to say about it.

Второй эпизод истории Фили и на сей раз вышло куда лучше. Чёрная Чума рассказывает о лаборатории и таинственном вирусе во льдах. Отличий от первого эпизода в целом немного, на сей раз конечно дать отпор местным монстрякам не представляется возможным, так как разрабы убрали всё оружие, оно и в целом ещё по первой части было очень неудобным. Изменили преследователей, что в целом было более правильным решением, потому...
I was not really overly impressed with Penumbra: Overture, but I told myself it'll be worth it as a set up for Black Plague. After all, Black Plague has more stuff I like about Frictional's games from 2010 to the 2023 design shift with (very good) Amnesia: The Bunker - no combat and humanoid enemies rather than rabid dogs and spiders. But the longer I played the more my opinion dropped, beginning from the dream...
