Tex Murphy is the last of the hard-boiled gumshoe detectives living in dystopian post-World War III San Francisco in the 2050s. Tex is an honest and good-natured private investigator with a penchant for bourbon, cigarettes and getting himself into trouble.

Excellent game! I enjoyed it very much. I just kept laughing at all of Tex's comments! I've played very few FMVs, but such a delightful game definitely inspires me to explore more of the genre.
New San Francisco, 2050. Tex Murphy is just a humble P.I. trying to save the world as we know it. This is the sixth game in a decades-long franchise, but easily stands alone & above the rest.
Started off funny and cheeky with lots of dialogue before devolving into hours of boring pixel-hunting while running around unnecessarily large environments. Later areas include stealth areas and environmental obstacles with annoying sound effects that for some reason cannot be turned down. The puzzles are uninspired and painful to deal with (coming from someone who loves puzzle games). Items are hard to find even...
