What players say
I don't know where to start. This is the classic game I loved as a kid, and the remake looks great. I loved seeing the old screens superimposed over the new screens so you could see the difference in detail. There's one place this remake falls short though. They hired a bunch of voice actors using from every southern crawl except Southern Louisiana. The accents would have fared better for a Savannah Georgia setting...
Man, I love these Gabriel Knight games... Hours of fun, and all you need is a bit of logical thinking. Sins of the Father has a sharp, engaging story line, well rounded characters, and beautiful art. I find myself getting lost in the intricacies of the game for the whole night.
My exposure to the Gabriel Knight series began when I had first received a free copy of Gabriel Knight 3 from Columbia House in 1999. I didn't have a PC yet at the time so it was just gathering dust until a year later when my parents bought a desktop PC and I was eager to try it out which I ended up loving because I do enjoy vampire folklore.
