The value story
The lowest price on record is $14.99, set in March 2026. 11 discounts in the 2 years on record. They run about 50 percent off, roughly 10 weeks apart. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended 12 days ago.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 34 percent on value. It is pricier than 99 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 75 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Happy's Humble Burger Farm ($19.99, scores 52) beats it on value, while it beats The Chant ($24.99, scores 32).
Of the 543 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 18 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written November 2024 to September 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 8 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 2,814 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 540 have a larger share. In its first 30 days on sale, 12 of 108 sampled reviews came from refunders. Inside the two-hour refund window, 67 percent of the 188 reviews written there were positive, against 78 percent overall, and those are 16 percent of everything written about it.
It carries Valve's Deck Verified rating and runs 13.4 hours, about as long as a handheld game wants to be.

Yet... the aftertaste is pure 2020s. Bitter, generic, and disappointing. So, ultimately, I don't know how I feel about this game, so I sure as heck can't recommend yes or no with any...
I was really drawn in by the Silent Hill creator's name and the trailer, which had a strong mix of The Thing and Kiseiju vibes (I'm a big fan of Kiseiju). But after playing it, I've got to say I'm pretty disappointed. The game clearly has potential, but it really shows that it was made on a low budget. Every single character, including the protagonist, doesn't actually talk-they just hum the entire time. All the...
