The value story
June 2024 is where it bottomed out, at $8.99. It has been discounted 14 times in the 5 years tracked here, typically at 45 percent off, with about 18 weeks between sales.
Value puts it in the top 7 percent of the games it competes with. It is pricier than 88 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 95 percent. On the same math Stay Out of the House ($14.99, scores 70) and Crow Country ($19.99, scores 72) are the better buys, and they are the games it most resembles.
2 of the 442 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written October 2021 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 73 percent of the 178 reviews written there were positive, against 89 percent overall, and those are 13 percent of everything written about it.
Finishing takes 6.8 hours; clearing it takes 20, which is 2.9 times the campaign.

What players say
One of the best "RE inspired" survival horror games out there along with the Tormented Souls games.
The biggest challenge in this game was definitely getting used to the controls. I had particular trouble finishing off enemies lying on the floor. Despite that, I really enjoyed the game. I didn't have much experience with games like the first Resident Evil games, but it was worth giving this one a chance.
It's like a family friendly version of Resident Evil 1, except this one might be harder (or that's what I feel after playing RE1 a thousand times and Alisa just once).
