More about Life Eater
This site sampled 323 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 9 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written April 2024 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 9 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 2,866 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 115 have a larger share. The typical game sits near 5 in 1,000, so the score docks it.

What players say
A time management game where you stalk your prey and kill them, all in a story of a serial killer slowly doubting his evil god. In terms of gameplay the time-management system is interesting. You spend time on increasingly difficult checks that can reveal a target's time while also giving awareness. The more you uncover the more details you can cite when you eventually capture your target and execute them in a way...

Fun game with an AMAZING story, I just wish there was a bit more replayability to it because I enjoyed it that much. Highly recommend if you enjoy a good story.
Great in everything except gameplay, which bogs down the whole experience. It's neat for an hour, but quickly gets repetitive and inconsistent with the conclusions you're supposed to make from the information presented by the game. More frustrating than enjoyable.
