it's a great lovecraftian rougelike deckbuilder - the atmosphere is really well done, the events fit right into the game world, i think the leveling system from the cards is well done. In theory the relic system is a cool idea - sometimes falls flat because of the balancing. The meta-progression feels great at start, but very soon makes you overpowered (+1 energy from start beeing the most egrigious one) - further...
The loop isn't fun. You quickly understand you are going to die. Because this game is made for you to repeat to obtain materials to get stronger enough. Wood in stage 1, bricks in stage 2... Your strategy become, how are you going to collect most of what is required to upgrade a little to be able to do the same a little more next time.
