What players say
I don't know why I never wrote a review for Braid, I played this game when it came out, like 17 years ago. It's still one of the best of its genre and probably one of top 100 games ever. The creativity, the atmosphere, the story, have never ever been surpasses in another platformer, as of 2026. Do yourself a favor and play it.

A classic. A fundamental game for every gamer that enjoys the leisure. Many games followed the innovative mechanics implemented here, and consolidated Jonathan Blow as one of the top game creators on Earth. A must have.

This is the original version of Braid from 2009, which may not work well on newer systems. For an updated version of the game with nicer graphics, more levels and a large amount of developer commentary, see Braid, Anniversary Edition.
