What drives the score
How to read this
Grades run S to D, read from the buyer's side. ▲ marks a lift, ▼ a drag or a dock, ? an input we do not have, • a fact this genre's score does not use. How the grades work
About the game
Filled with mystery, humor, and suspense, and brought to life in rich 3D-animation, AR-K is a point-and-click story game with a twist
Minimum specs
Minimum on the Steam store: 1 GB of memory, 3.2 GB of storage. Runs on Windows, macOS, Linux.
The value story
49 discounts in the 12 years on record, a median of 90 percent off across all of them, roughly 6 weeks apart. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended about 160 weeks ago.
It is less well reviewed than 98 percent of its genre. On the same math Bear With Me - Episode One (free, scores 67) and Unforeseen Incidents ($19.99, scores 58) are the better buys, and they are the games it most resembles.
The drop-off
32% start to 6% rarestNo achievement in this game marks the ending, so there is no finish rate. The curve runs from the most-unlocked achievement to the rarest, and its shape is where players stop. Steam global achievements
What players say
I played Episode 3 years ago (not knowing it was a sequel) and I liked it, despite still being a (forever) unfinished story. So I bought these 2 previous entries, expecting more of the same. Don't do that. 1 and 2 are ridiculous. Firstly, they offer a terrible interface: no save menu, no options, no hot spots key, no fast walk, no fast transitions, unmarked interactables, atrocious inventory, no item descriptions...
