The value story

It has never been cheaper than $9.99. That was April 2026. It has been discounted 22 times in the 2 years tracked here, typically at 25 percent off, with about 5 weeks between sales. Today's $12.99 at 35 percent off still sits 30 percent above the floor, so a deeper cut exists in its history.

Against its own genre it lands in the top 38 percent on value. It is pricier than 74 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 60 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Tower Factory ($11.99, scores 64) beats it on value, while it beats Kingdom Eighties ($11.99, scores 37).

6 of the 626 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written September 2024 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 58 percent of the 143 reviews written there were positive, against 85 percent overall, and those are 7 percent of everything written about it.

Valve rates it Steam Deck Verified, so it runs on the handheld without fiddling.

What players say

It is ok micromanagement+autobattler merger. Different scenarios and missions adds some differences to the runs. But it gets pretty repetative and you start to feel as routine as these miners. Additional minus for metaprogression, ew.
