The Council starts out as a genuinely intriguing historical mystery. I started with the first free chapter and was really hooked so I bought the rest. The first three episodes are easily the highlight - navigating political intrigue, investigating the island, and chatting with figures like Napoleon and Washington felt fresh, and turning dialogue and observation into the core "combat" system is a great concept. It could've been a better game the story was so good but the change that happened mid game made it lost that mysterious atmosphere and it definitely needs a sequel. gameplay is okay it's similar to sherlock holmes games a bit. graphics are good. music are okay. overall 8/10 get it only when it's on discount.
this game was well worth 15 bucks that i paid for it. I went in totally blind on an 8yr old game and it didn't dissapoint. The story kept me invested throughout. Wish i could've been Han though... #IYKYK
