The value story

It has never been cheaper than $5.99. That was May 2026. Its cuts run 78 percent off as a rule. There have been 27 in the 4 years tracked, about 7 weeks apart. Today's $5.99 at 85 percent off matches the lowest price in the record.

At full price it scores 56. The current cut is what makes it a 65.

Against its own genre it lands in the top 4 percent on value. It is pricier than 98 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 86 percent. Among the games that feel like it, LEGO® Batman™ 2: DC Super Heroes ($19.99, scores 71) beats it on value, while it beats LEGO® Harry Potter: Years 1-4 ($19.99, scores 63).

Steam's global achievement data puts about 18 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. On a 26.2-hour game, the hours short of it still count in its price per hour. Of the 544 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 25 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written October 2024 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 9 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 2,814 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 377 have a larger share. The typical game sits near 5 in 1,000, so the score docks it. 2 of the 25 refunded reviewers were past Valve's two-hour window when they wrote the review. Inside the two-hour refund window, 56 percent of the 212 reviews written there were positive, against 83 percent overall, and those are 15 percent of everything written about it.

The main story runs 26.2 hours. Doing everything runs 53, 2.0 times as long.

It carries Valve's Deck Verified rating, which is the one that means it just works.

What players say

I Love Harry Potter ❤️❤️❤️ /* This Lego game is great for any HP fan /* 1 - 4 * This one is the best of the both. * Has a few glitches but mostly ran nicely. * I found this game has so much to do and so many places to go. * This game was fun and I really enjoyed it. 😊 5 - 7 * This game is full of glitches and can be extremely annoying. * The change in the way you buy characters is just awful. * I hated that you...

Years 1-4 is a decent game. Graphics are outdated and some of the puzzles, mostly the ones with big blocks you have to turn into stairs, are pretty jank, but it's fun. its a lego game, its gonna be fun. Don't buy this if you want to get past year 7. There's a shader bug, something to do with lighting, as it turns up mostly in scenes with windows or outdoors, but it covers the screen in random stretched out polygons...
