Doesn't have the charm, story depth, or combat (magic) variety of the first one. They really dropped the ball on what made the first game worth playing for over 200 hours.
Was fun, but can't recommend a game from a developer that embraces AI slop this way.
I am a massive fan of the original and I love this game but it feels abandoned to me. This is one of the games that could greatly benefit from more story DLC and content however all we got so far is the base game and a mediocre end game DLC (It was free so I am a lot more lenient on it). We need something like Origin island in the original to expand more on the game. If you are thinking of buying it then just know...
