Interesting game but sadly a bit limited with variability. It could also be longer. Zigurat 2 improves on all these shortcomings and at this point it's probably better if you get that game instead of this one. That said it's interesting enough for multiple playthroughs which is good and necessary considering it's a rogue-like.
For a cheap game that regularly goes on sale and was released at the beginning or even before the big "indie rogue-like" craze, it's pretty good. Movement and shooting feels good, like a Quake game if anything, maps, while basic are decent enough and maze-y. The aesthetic reminds me of one of those fake games you'd see someone playing in a movie or TV show, in a good way. It's just a really basic, barebones...
