There are 2 things that makes this game superior to the bajillion other co-op roguelike shooters: 1. Weapon variety. Most similar games usually have only 5-8 other weapon types where you start with 1 or 2 and the others take dozens of hours to tediously unlock. This game has over 60 weapons and you will likely unlock at least a dozen within only a couple first runs. This makes every run feel different and...

I played prior to the DLCs, and now post DLCs. The game has gotten much easier since the DLCs, theres so much more player power and gun power in the game now that it trivialized a lot of the difficulty. That being said, they did make things better. Getting essence to upgrade your talents for meta progression is a lot easier now, thats a plus. Also the power fantasy is satisfying as well, lots of the guns are pretty...
