I played Rome Expeditions from TQ Nordiq and it was an amazing game. They make the best RPG+Strategy type of games and SpellForce 3 Reforged is another amazing game they made.

Really nice game with a surprisingly good narrative. The mix of RPG and RTS takes a little while to get used to, and at first some of the mechanics can feel a bit confusing. But once you get the hang of it, the game becomes really enjoyable. The story, characters and world kept me interested, and I liked the way the RPG and strategy parts work together. It's not perfect, but it's definitely a fun experience if you...
Apparently no one has ever tried playing the co-op campaign with two additional players, because it doesn't work. Cutscenes keep freezing and we had to restart every couple of minutes to get around that problem. Didn't find any fixes either. It works perfectly well with only two players though.
