What players say
Shay turned out to be more likeable than I expected and following his story was what kept me invested. The collectibles felt more like filler with too much time spent travelling between them. Worth a play despite its flaws.

Better than Black Flag AC Rogue's entire story is actually about the assassins and templars - their ideology, methods, mistakes, and conflict. No pirate adventures, revolution, or other historical storyline taking over the main plot. Shay also became one of my favorite characters in the universe. Character development is insane. He has seen both sides and realized that they are both flawed. Deeper than one could...
Its a nothing burger, if you have played black flag, dont play this. If you have not played black flag, just play black flag and call it a day. This game is exactly black flag with shorter story with all the same system
