I expected "Dragon Quest 1 like" randomizer. Safe to say it exceeded my expectation. The way gear works is really fun to play around with. Hunting at least 1 of each monsters to unlock traits was also great. The game is short and sweet so the randomizer doesn't feel too crazy. I can see my self playing this game every once in awhile with different modifiers. Best $9.99 I've spent.
I'm biased, but I have had a HUGE amount of fun with this one. Ir's DragonQuest I run through a randomizer, but it's a dang good randomizer: there are lots of different modes and challenges to keep things fresh, lots of possible synergies within a deep pool of possible weapon and armor abilities, and runs are quick, a jaunt from lv. 1 - 20 that succeeds in feeling swift (once you have its rhythms down). Reviewing it...
