More about Rogue Loops
This site sampled 261 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 8 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written April 2025 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 9 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 1,174 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 14 have a larger share. The typical game sits near 5 in 1,000, so the score docks it. 1 of the 8 refunded reviewers was past Valve's two-hour window when they wrote the review.

I downloaded the demo and wasn't sure about it. It was challenging and I struggled to make progress while finding the required curse-stacking frustrating. But then I came back to the demo the next night, and ended up putting 3 hours into it without thinking. The gameplay hit me in a similar way as Curse of the Dead Gods - I don't like dodge/parry/block mechanics, but that game offered something different, and I see...

It's a fun little rogue-lite. Definitely an unfinished game, but what is there is pretty fun. Gameplay is well done but is very lacking in content. 4-5ish hours to complete the final boss on normal difficulty and around 15ish total to finish on the hardest. I would recommend at $5 or less.
DO NOT BUY!!! What there is of a game is good but it's been abandoned and there are a ton of issues. Metaprogression doesn't work for most of the systems and bugs will end a run or delete your save. Specifically the "run" counter that unlocks characters doesn't work, I have no idea what it's counting but it took way more clears than it would say to unlock characters. There is a weapon upgrade currency that seems to...
