What players say
For a lot of players, Cossacks: Back to War became one of the first real time strategies they ever played. The developers from GSC decided not to reinvent the wheel and just repainted the old, time tested one. Cossacks 3 kept everything people loved about the series and served it in a new wrapper. It`s still a good, versatile RTS that can keep you busy for many hours. But as much as I`d like to keep praising this...

Some of the Most fun i have had in an RTS game. It looks great, has great sound effects and runs smoothly. The massive battles you can get into are such a fun spectacle its fully worth playing at least once not to mention the resource management is easy and not a chore.
It could be so much, though the AI is nowhere near exciting - they build no normal settlements, all is just one giant blob system. No tactical edges, chokepoints, placings etc. It's just a empty experience whereas there could be loads of it. It was much better in the old days.
