Don't buy this expecting the full experience I bought this game back in 2017/2018, when it was still in Early Access. At the time, it was a cool game, but nothing particularly special. There weren't many factions to choose from, so I eventually decided to put it aside and come back to it later. The developers gave up. Bifrost has been broken for a year, no progression. I recently came back because I wanted to get all the achievements in northgard. I did a lot. I only needed stoat and owl, but after finishing with stoat with a friend, got no star and then finishing challenge with owl found out that its been broken for a year. It was a great game at the beginning, but years of not fixing bugs with the game...
I never really liked RTS games, I always preferred city building as opposed to tense and fast strategy like AoE, StarCraft or Warcraft. It feels Northgard is made for people like me. With it's slow paced gameplay it gives me plenty of time to enjoy expanding the settlement, as well as keeps you entertained with some challenges. I can recommend this game to anyone who is looking for a little bit of lay-back but still...
