What drives the score
How to read this
Every input gets a grade, S to D, read from the buyer's side. The score is multiplicative, so an input only counts as raising when it sits near the top of its own scale. Anything with real room left is holding the score back, because that room is the gap to 100. ▲ marks a lift, ▼ a drag or a dock, ? an input we do not have, • a fact this genre's score does not use. The exact weights stay secret.
The value story
The lowest price on record is $2.99, set in October 2020. It has been discounted 82 times in the 11 years tracked here, typically at 70 percent off, with about 6 weeks between sales. Today's $2.99 at 70 percent off matches the lowest price in the record.
Take the discount away and it is a 17. With it, 19.
It is pricier than 73 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 85 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Assassin’s Creed® Chronicles: China ($2.99, scores 35) beats it on value, while it beats Assassin’s Creed® Chronicles: Russia ($2.99, scores 5).
Steam's global achievement data says about 5 percent of players ever finish it. On a 5.6-hour game, that is a lot of paid-for hours most people never see. Of the 535 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, none come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written March 2020 to September 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 43 percent of the 174 reviews written there were positive, against 66 percent overall, and those are 16 percent of everything written about it.
5.6 hours to finish it, 14 to exhaust it. The completionist tail is 2.6 times the campaign.

What players say
This short and bitter-sweet negative review is not aimed at protag or story! Both are good in their own right. 100% of the reason why I give this game a thumbs down is because it is 2.5-D. Yeah, as crazy as it may sound after 26 hours of gameplay locked in, it took replaying the normal AC games to make me realize just how much 2.5-D is a HUGE turnoff! I'll be generous and give this game a 3.5 of 5 stars. If the game...
Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India Okay, I must say... I really liked AC Chronicles: China, but India left me with mixed feelings. India and atmosphere The Indian setting is really interesting and definitely gives the game its own identity. It feels different enough from China, and I liked the focus on ancient artifacts and the mystery surrounding them. We actually get new ancient artifact than the Brotherhood...
Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India offers a unique 2.5D take on the Assassin's Creed formula, set in a visually striking version of colonial India. The art style stands out with vibrant colors and detailed backdrops inspired by Indian culture and architecture. Gameplay leans heavily on stealth and timing, though combat and movement can feel a bit restrictive at times. Revisiting previous levels on harder settings...

Assassin’s Creed® Chronicles: India scores 19/100 on the BANG Score (a skip). The BANG Score rates what a game is worth for the money. Via Steam BANGERS. https://steambangers.com/game/359610/assassin-s-creed-chronicles-indiaThe BANG Score is one number for value, 0 to 100: price against how it reviews and how long it was built to be. It answers the money question and stops there; whether the game is for you is still your call.
Reviews set the ceiling and price moves you inside it, so a cheap game that reviews badly cannot climb. Ratings from few reviewers are shrunk toward the middle, so 100 percent from nine people does not outrank 96 percent from ninety thousand. Length comes from HowLongToBeat where it can be matched, measured against a per-genre floor so a five-hour narrative game is judged against other narrative games rather than against a sixty-hour RPG. Where no verified length exists the score says so and carries a dock, because the biggest input is then a guess. The full method, including where it is weak → Steam reviews as of Sep 23, price as of Sep 24.
