What players say
Please take the recent reviews with somewhat of a grain of salt, a lot of them are from review bombing the one time publisher of an obsidian game, Paradox over some discord babble upsetting Turkish nationalists. That being said the game itself is quite nice, a subvert of the usual trope where you are expected to play as an agent of an evil warlord, that being said you can rebel and the campaign to do so is nicely...

Tyranny is a really good game and you should absolutely check it out. Pay no attention to all recent negative reviews from losers upset that Paradox criticized Turkey's genocidal authoritarian leader.
One of my favorite CRPGs I've ever played! I love the writing in this game, and the combat. The custom spell creation system is awesome to toy around with. As a mage, I loved it. Will be doing another playthrough soon. Good for newcomers to the CRPG genre as it has very straightforward directions in quests, and a shorter length than other CRPGs.
