One of my favorite games of all time! I've played Neverwinter Nights 2, Dragon Age Origins through Inquisition, Divinity Original Sin I and II, Pillars of Eternity I and II, Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Baldur's Gate III, and Rogue Trader. Hugely ambitious and outstanding for a debut release. I enjoyed this game from start to finish regardless of its issues. I hope more people who already own this game can see it through till the end. This game asks a lot from you, but you get out what you put in. This game is worth every penny. Owlcat Studios is our only hope for the future of CRPGs.
This game has been out for almost a decade now, and it's as trash as ever. It will never be fixed since Owlcat lost the rights to it, but there was little hope for it in the first place. Kingmaker as a 1e TTRPG was also messy trashcan of incoherent design, but at least a human GM that doesn't hate their players can manually clean it up.
