Not an objectively bad game, but extremely disappointing for a Resident Evil title. I wouldn't put this game with RE5 or 6, more like RE3R. B or even C tier The first third of the game is S tier survival horror, especially Grace's section in the Care Center. Then it just has an identity crisis and becomes a dumpster fire of non-sense, flip-flopping back and forth between watered down RE2R (Grace) and RE4R (Leon)...
re9 was honestly such an amazing experience and i had so much fun playing it. grace is such a cutie and i absolutely loved her as a new protagonist. her sections genuinely had me terrified at times and they reminded me so much of re7 with how tense and scary they felt. i know i've seen some ppl say they found her gameplay too slow but i honestly loved it. i rlly enjoyed exploring the care centre, learning the layout...
