What drives the score
How to read this
Grades run S to D, read from the buyer's side. ▲ marks a lift, ▼ a drag or a dock, ? an input we do not have, • a fact this genre's score does not use. How the grades work
About the game
Jump into the action and battle your way through hordes of aliens from deserts to tropical islands with fully destructible environments !
Minimum specs
Minimum on the Steam store: 2 GB of memory, DirectX 9 Compatible GPU with 1 GB Video RAM, 799 MB of storage. Windows only.
The value story
It has been discounted 110 times in the 11 years tracked here. The median cut across all of them is 60 percent, about 5 weeks apart. Today's $0.69 at 86 percent off still sits 156 percent above the floor, so a deeper cut exists in its history.
It is cheaper than 78 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 91 percent. Andarilho ($4.99, scores 14) outscores it, and so does Sniper 3D Assassin: Free to Play (free, scores 13). Both sit among its closest neighbours.
More about Action Alien
Steam's global achievement data puts about 5 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. On a 1.3-hour game, the hours short of it still count in its price per hour. Inside the two-hour refund window, 61 percent of the 101 reviews written there were positive, against 56 percent overall, and those are 54 percent of everything written about it.
Finishing takes 1.3 hours; clearing it takes 6, which is 4.8 times the campaign.

What players say
Action Alien has destruction. It has weapons. It has aliens. It has explosions. It even has leveling up. But you know what it doesn't have? Pulse. The game feels like a person who's downed three liters of energy drink and still wants to sleep. Chaos is unfolding on the screen. Something is exploding. Someone is screaming. A horde of enemies is running toward you. And inside, there's emptiness. So much emptiness that...

4.0/10 Persistent issues remain, including unobtainable achievements and broken cloud saves. A poorly crafted first-person shooter that falls short even by 2015 standards, with overall quality reminiscent of games from 2005 or earlier. Completing all achievements takes only 4-5 hours. The game consists of three sections: Story Mode, Survival Mode, and Gear & Skills. Its logic is simplistic: kill monsters → earn...
god game for the price its a bit outdated and needs some work also you may have some problems when there are loads of aliens even with a decent pc
