What I expected years ago was a Disney-esque experience, what I got this year (because apparently I stopped playing sometime in 2015) was an at times frustrating platformer that got me wondering "how on earth am I going to get through this game without dying???" I buy game. I open game. I start game. 3 minutes into the game. Cry. Great game.
I picked this game up alongside its sequel Will of the Wisps as they were both on an ABSURD sale. The bundle including both games was a measly £5.61 as opposed to £35.98! But let me tell ya, I GLADLY would've spent that cash and THEN SOME with how absurdly good this game ended up being! Where do I even begin?? First off, if you even REMOTELY like the Metroidvania genre, this is an absolute must-play no questions...
