A nameless hero becomes a legend! Myrtana, a world in upheaval: overrun by orcs from the dark lands in the north, King Rhobar is defending Vengard, the former stronghold of the humans, with his last troop of followers.

its a fun 7/10 game. it has a cooler premise than gothic 2 imo and the idea of starting very weak and building up to become extremely powerful is still there. it feels a bit bloated with a bunch of side quests being very similar, exploration is kind of meh, its way worse to find where you need to go for a quest compared to gothic 1 and 2 because npcs will give you a general direction from their location and nothing...
Finally managed to run the game without lags after 20 years! Of course needed to install mods. Gothic 3 wasnt a proper successor. They changed the formula here. G1/2 has smaller world, where you were pretty restricted from beginning. You also started as a zero from scratch, barely able to kill a fly. Here, the first thing you do is fighting orcs.
