the game is not really scary so much as it's tense, but even then, it doesn't have crazy amounts of tension. it has a very unique way of displaying the game, with everything presented in this long strip across your screen. after playing it, though, i have to admit that it actually works really well. i personally found the directions a little unclear sometimes, but I was high when I played it, so maybe that was just...

Definitely showing its age, but I still had a good time with it. It had a unique atmosphere and enough charm to keep things interesting despite feeling a bit old-school now. I'm glad I played it and would still say it's worth giving a shot on sale.
I feel a bit silly being a grown man who bought a game made for kids. I think there's a rule of thumb about gameplay: if the gameplay gets too simple, maybe you're better off making a visual novel instead of a game - otherwise it's a game for children. That's the case here. This isn't a point and click. You actually have to walk your character around and do tasks. But after a while of moving through tiny spaces...
